If you send in a logo that does not adhere to the rules below, it will
be rejected. You will receive an email from SiteGuy stating that you
need to follow the instructions found here.
Here's an idea... test your logo before sending it to us! Put it on a background colour that is not 100% black. Check the edges of the images. If you see some colour other then 100% black, fix it! Often we receive graphics that have one or more visible lines on the image edge(s). The reason we request images with a 100% black background is so that your logo will appear as part of the page it's
displayed on. You can check to see if your image is on a 100% black background by placing each image on a 100% black background prior to sending it to us. Ask a digital graphic designer what this means if you don't know. Don't be afraid to ask if you don't know!!

NOT REPLY TO THE EMAIL WITH QUESTIONS AS TO WHY YOUR LOGO WAS REJECTED!
Simply follow the instructions posted here (like hundreds of teams have
done), and your logo will be accepted.

WE'VE
RECEIVED AND REJECTED MANY LOGO SUBMISSIONS THAT ARE OF VERY POOR
QUALITY. IF THE LOGO YOU'RE
ABOUT TO SEND IS OF POOR QUALITY (THIS MEANS BLURRY, MESSY, SUPER-LOW
RESOLUTION, ETC.), IT WILL BE REJECTED! ALSO, IF YOUR LOGO IS ON
A COLOUR OTHER THAN 100% BLACK (THIS INCLUDES YOUR LOGO ON A NON-BLACK
BACKGROUND THAT CONTRASTS WITH 100% BLACK!). Please see the following
examples of logos that were rejected. (no offense to the teams
that submitted them!)

rejected because the mustard background is not really a part of the logo.

background. If a white (or light coloured) glow or stroke was added, it would
be accepted.

a mess. To be accepted the white would need to be removed and a white (or light
coloured) glow or stroke would need to be added.

All logos will be displayed on 100% black. Therefore, make sure that
they stand-out from a black background. Any logo submitted with a
background other than 100% black will be rejected.

We need 2 sizes! - THAT MEANS, IF
YOU ONLY SEND 1 LOGO, IT WILL BE REJECTED! That also means, don't
send more than 2 logos. Just send what is requested here. We do
not have time to select the best logo of the logos you send.

WEB'! ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER FILE FORMATS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

IF THE QUALITY OF YOUR LOGO IS POOR, IT WILL NOT BE USED. IF YOU DO
NOT ADHERE TO THE ABOVE DIMENSIONS and FORMATS, YOUR LOGO WILL BE REJECTED.

DO NOT SUBMIT LOGOS WITH ANY SORT OF DESIGNER CREDIT, WEB SITE INFO OR
OTHER INFO AS A PART OF THE GRAPHIC. ONLY SUBMIT YOUR ACTUAL TEAM
LOGO, NAME OR COMBINATION OF BOTH.

DUE TO THE OVERWHELMING DEMAND BY TEAMS TO HAVE THEIR LOGOS DISPLAYED,
LOGOS WILL BE CHANGED REGULARILY ON THE SCROLLING WINDOW AT THE TOP
OF OUR WEB PAGES. THERE IS NO SET SCHEDULE FOR THIS SO PLEASE DON'T
DEMAND TO HAVE YOUR LOGO DISPLAYED ON A CERTAIN DATE.

ALL LOGOS MUST BE SENT FROM YOUR TEAM REPRESENTATIVE'S EMAIL
ADDRESS. LOGOS SENT FROM OTHER EMAIL ADDRESSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!

INCLUDE THE NAME OF YOUR TEAM IN THE EMAIL SUBJECT LINE, ALONG WITH
THE WORDS "TEAM LOGO".

INCLUDE, IN THE TEXT OF YOUR EMAIL:

If your logo was used last season and you're satisfied with that
logo, and you want it used this season, please make that request
via email. MAKE SURE YOU INDICATE WHERE, WHICH NIGHT AND WHICH DIVISION
YOUR TEAM PLAYED IN LAST SEASON.

NOT FORGET TO INCLUDE THE INFORMATION REQUIRED IN NUMBERS 6, 7, AND
8 ABOVE FOR THIS SEASON!

I RECEIVE ABSOLUTE CRAP EVERY DAY FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT TAKEN
THE TIME TO READ THE SPECIFICATIONS CLEARLY POSTED ABOVE. Some teams
send 4 or 5 versions of their logo and expect me to critique which
one is best suited for the site. Some only send one logo and expect
me to modify it to fit on the site.
